Danish designer Verner Panton studied at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen where he was given a complete educational knowledge in architect and engineering. Early in his career he worked with renowned architect Arne Jacobsen. A designer with futuristic inspirations, he specialized quickly in furniture and especially chairs. With a touch for light materials such as plastic and resin, he stands out from other designers developing the first chair in one single piece, which connects to the end.
